HONEST TRANSPARENCY
Limitations & Storage
Machine application only — the pre-stretch requirement (200%+) means manual application will not achieve proper load containment. Verify machine pre-stretch carriage is set to 200–250% before first use — settings optimized for LLDPE (typically 150–200%) may need adjustment. Not recommended for pallets over 1,500 kg or loads with extremely sharp metal projections. Industrial compostable only.

Can this film run on my existing stretch wrapper?
Our PBAT machine film has been tested and validated on Lantech Q-300 and S-350, Wulftec WCA-200, and Robopac Rotoplat series machines. Key parameters for your technical team: recommended pre-stretch 200–250%, wrap force 8–12 kg, turntable speed 12–15 rpm. We provide a machine setup guide with every trial order and offer remote technical support for initial setup.
How does PBAT compare to LLDPE in cost and performance?
PBAT machine film is approximately 25–30% more expensive per roll than LLDPE at current resin pricing. However, the premium is offset by: 30% higher puncture resistance (fewer rewraps due to tears), regulatory compliance advantages in markets restricting plastic packaging, and the marketing/differentiation value for logistics providers. As PBAT production scales (BASF ecoflex capacity expansion and new Asian capacity), we expect the price gap to narrow to 10–15% within 3 years.
What end-of-life documentation do you provide?
EN 13432 and OK Compost INDUSTRIAL certificates from TUV Austria. SGS biodegradation test report. Certificate of Analysis with every batch. We also provide a one-page end-of-life instruction sheet for your warehouse staff and a customer-facing sustainability summary for your own clients.
