Compostable Shopping Bags

Five certified compostable shopping bag formats cover the retail spectrum: the 12 lb t-shirt bag (22 μm, 3-layer co-extruded PBAT+PLA+plant starch, HDPE-class load rating), handle bags in 100-count retail boxes, BPI-certified t-shirt bags, reusable-format bags, and a home-compostable t-shirt bag. Every format is certified to EN 13432, with OK Compost HOME, AS 5810, and FDA food-contact certification on the formats that need them.

The regulatory position is the practical differentiator here: all five formats are permitted under California SB 1053 and every major US bag law, which bans conventional HDPE checkout bags. Custom options include up to 8-colour flexo printing with water-based soy inks, custom film gauge, and private-label packaging.
